Celebration of the 71st Anniversary of the Outbreak of the Glorious Algerian Revolution of November 1st, 1954

The Embassy of Algeria in Oslo organized today 07th November, in an atmosphere filled with pride and national dignity, an official ceremony to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious Revolution of November 1st, 1954.

The ceremony was attended by Mrs. Stine Renate Hæheim, State Secretary Deputy Minister at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as Guest of Honour, along with members of the diplomatic corps, Norwegian partners, representatives of associations, and a large number of members of the Algerian community residing in Norway.

In her address on this occasion, H.E. Mrs. Feriel Rima Yousfi-Ighil, Ambassador of Algeria to the Kingdom of Norway, paid tribute to the resistance and struggle of the Algerian people, highlighting the human and universal dimension of the noble values of the Revolution.
Her Excellency also reaffirmed the strength and vitality of the friendship and cooperation ties between Algeria and Norway.

The ceremony featured the screening of an audiovisual film showcasing Algeria’s economic and tourism potential, followed by a cultural program highlighting the richness and diversity of Algerian heritage, through a traditional fashion show that illustrated the beauty and elegance of authentic Algerian attire.
