Visa process to attend the fourth Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF2025) in Algiers

The Algerian Embassy in Oslo announces that Algeria will host the fourth edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025), which will be held in Algiers, from September 4 to 10, 2025.

I - CONSULAR VISA

File Submission

Upon receipt of the participant lists by diplomatic and consular posts, concerned individuals may approach Algerian embassies and consulates in their place of residence to submit their visa applications.

Visa applications may be submitted individually or collectively through focal points designated by AFREXIMBANK.

Only participants whose names appear on the lists sent by the central administration are allowed to submit visa applications.

 

Required Documents:

  • Completed and signed visa application form;
  • Passport with at least 6 months of validity;
  • Photocopy of passport pages containing personal information;
  • Proof of registration confirmation on the IATF 2025 platform;
  • Two recent passport-size photos;
  • Visa fee payment;
  • Hotel reservation**;
  • Round-trip flight reservation**.

 

**If not available at the time of application, these two documents must be submitted at the time of visa collection.

 

Visa Processing and Validity

Holders of diplomatic or service passports and travel documents from regional and international organizations are subject to regular visa procedures unless exempted by a bilateral agreement.

Processing time must not exceed one week.

 

Visa validity is as follows:

Individual participants: One-month single-entry tourist visa (valid from August 15 to September 15);

Exhibitors: Three-month multiple-entry business visa;

Bank delegation staff traveling multiple times to Algeria for meetings: Six-month multiple-entry business visa.

 

II - VISA ON ARRIVAL

In duly justified exceptional cases, visas on arrival may be issued in coordination with the Ministry of the Interior, Local Authorities, and Spatial Planning (MICLAT).

 

Conditions for Issuance

Any foreign national arriving in Algeria must present a valid travel document with a consular visa to the border control authorities.

In emergencies, the Border Police may exceptionally issue a regularization visa to travelers arriving without a visa.

This measure applies to nationals residing in countries without Algerian diplomatic or consular representation.

 

Required Documents:

  • Visa regularization request form;
  • Valid passport (more than 6 months);
  • Copy of passport pages with personal details;
  • Proof of entry request to Algeria (IATF 2025 registration confirmation);
  • Visa fee as defined in Article 48 of the 2025 Finance Law;
  • Proof of accommodation in Algeria (hotel reservation);
  • Return ticket.

 

To be allowed to board a flight to Algeria, the participant requiring a visa on arrival must have a boarding authorization issued by the competent services of our ministry.
