Commemoration of the sixty-third anniversary (63) of Independence Day

In commemoration of the sixty-third anniversary (63) of Independence Day ( 05 July 2025), and under the slogan "Our Algeria, the legacy of the martyrs and the glory of the faithful", the Embassy of Algeria to the Kingdom of Norway organized today a commemorative ceremony, with participation of members of the Algerian community, it began with the raising of the national flag, followed by the reading of “Surat el Fatiha” and a minute of silence for the pure souls of the martyrs.

H.E Ambassador Feriel Rima Yousfi-Eghil delivered a speech on the occasion in which she reminded the symbolism of this day, and the importance of consolidating historical awareness among the rising generations of the community.
