Celebrating the National Mujahid Day

On the occasion of the commemoration of the National Mujahid Day under the slogan "Loyalty, Construction and Continuity", the Algerian Embassy in Norway commemorated this anniversary, which was attended by His Excellency Ambassador Sher Kamal, accompanied by a number of members of our community residing in Norway, by observing a minute of silence and reciting Al-Fatiha for the souls of our righteous martyrs, then listening to the national anthem.
On this occasion, His Excellency the Ambassador delivered a speech in which he touched on the great importance of this double anniversary, the attacks of northern Constantine on August 20, 1955 and the convening of the Soummam Conference on August 20, 1956, noting their role in unifying political action and armed struggle.
The Ambassador also reviewed the various political, economic and social reforms undertaken by Algeria under the leadership of the President of the Republic, stressing the role of our community in participating in political and economic life to build the nation, especially on the eve of the early presidential elections of September 7, 2024, on which he called on our community to exercise its electoral right with complete freedom and transparency.
