Welcome to the official website of the Embassy of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Kingdom of Norway.

It is a great honor for me to assume my duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Kingdom of Norway, following the presentation of my credentials to His Majesty King Harald V on April 24, 2025, as part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between our two countries.

I am committed to further deepening Algerian-Norwegian relations by fostering constructive political dialogue and expanding strategic areas of cooperation, based on our shared visions on peace, security, and other key issues.

One of my top priorities will be to strengthen economic diplomacy by promoting investment opportunities in Algeria, particularly in light of the recent economic reforms and the new investment law, which provides a stable legal environment and attractive incentives for both local and foreign investors.

In this regard, I invite Norwegian investors to explore the promising opportunities available in Algeria, especially in sectors such as renewable energy, manufacturing, agriculture, and tourism. The legal advantages offered by this framework open the door for mutually beneficial and successful partnerships. I also reaffirm my commitment to supporting Algerian businesses and entrepreneurs in strengthening their presence in the Norwegian market, by providing the legal and economic support necessary for the success of their investments and the expansion of their commercial ventures in this dynamic economic space.

Last but not least, and in line with the guidance and recommendations of His Excellency the President of the Republic, I will also strive to support the Algerian community residing in Norway. This includes ensuring the best possible consular services, facilitating administrative procedures, and reinforcing cultural and social ties with the homeland—thus strengthening national identity and fostering a sense of belonging. I also intend to encourage the contributions of Algerian professionals in Norway to the national development process, through knowledge transfer and the promotion of cooperation in innovation, scientific research, and entrepreneurship.
