National Day of Memory

The Algerian Embassy in Oslo commemorated today the National Day of Memory, marking the 79^th anniversary of the May 8, 1945 massacres, with the playing of the national anthem, the raising of the Algerian flag and the recitation of Surah Al Fatiha from the Holy Quran in the memory of the Martyrs.

In his speech on this occasion, His Excellency Ambassador CHIR Kamel focused  on the sacrifices made by the Algerian people in his  struggle for independence,  in addition to the current challenges, noting the necessity of strengthening the internal front.
