Ambassador's Greetings
On 1st June 2023, I had the great honor of presenting my credential letter to His Majesty the King Herald V in my capacity as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Kingdom of Norway.
It is with great enthusiasm that I took office with the objective of further expanding the enduring ties of friendship between Algeria and Norway, which are rooted in shared perceptions and a great convergence of their positions regarding several regional and international issues of common interest.
As Ambassador, I will use all my efforts to deepen the already existing close relations between our two countries and to expand the prospects of their economic cooperation in the various fields and issues of common interest, in particular in areas related to maritime transport, fisheries, agriculture, renewable energy, higher education, science & technology, climate & environment.
Beyond the political and economic dimensions that structure relations between the two countries, the human dimension is of particular interest to me.
With the assistance of the consular section, we will work to further improve the handling of all the concerns of our nationals living in Norway.
I would also like to take this opportunity to invite each member of the national community to join the commitment taken by the President of the Republic Abdelmadjid TEBBOUNE, aimed at giving members of the Algerian community living abroad a more active role at all levels for the benefit of our country.
Through this website, I wish to streamline communication between the Embassy and our compatriots established in Norway. This will, I hope, facilitate your consular procedures.
