Commemorating the 63rd anniversary of the December 11, 1960 demonstrations

On the occasion of commemorating the 63rd anniversary of the December 11, 1960 demonstrations, the Algerian Embassy in Norway held a moment of silence and respect for the souls of the noble martyrs this morning. On this occasion, the national flag was raised and a wreath of flowers was laid before the recitation of the Fatiha and a speech by Mr. Ambassador Kamel Chir. In his speech, the Ambassador pointed out that these demonstrations confirmed the Algerian people's unequivocal rejection of any option other than the complete independence of Algeria. Furthermore, they contributed to internationalizing the Algerian cause and shedding light on it in the media.
