The Embassy of Algeria in Oslo Commemorates Africa Day 2026 Celebrations

The Embassy of Algeria in Oslo today commemorated Africa Day celebrations alongside a number of African embassies in Norway.

On this occasion, Her Excellency Ambassador Feriel Ryma Yousfi-Ighil participated in the panel discussion entitled “The Importance of Resources and Economic Diversification in Africa,” during which she highlighted the economic reforms undertaken by Algeria, the investment opportunities it offers, as well as the importance of economic diversification and innovation.

An Algerian stand was also organized, featuring traditional handicrafts, traditional Algerian attire, and promotional materials showcasing Algeria’s tourism and cultural heritage. In addition, guests were offered the traditional Algerian dish, couscous.

The Algerian stand attracted considerable interest from visitors and enjoyed strong attendance throughout the day’s celebrations.
